Programs and Services at Fox Hollow Stable

YOUNG HORSE PROGRAM

Fox Hollow Stable’s young horse rearing boarding rate is $830 Canadian per month, which includes five sessions a week dedicated to working patiently with the foals and young stock. This is an excellent foundation or kindergarten program for young horses before they are started under saddle.

The young horses will receive:

  • Regular professional, calm but firm handling to educate them
  • Controlled exposure to stimuli to teach them to respond appropriately and intelligently
  • Introduction on how to pick up their feet, wear boots and leg wraps, cross tie, stand for the farrier/vet, stand to be clipped, load on the trailer and stand for bathing
  • Owner will receive regular updates and photos of their horses

Board and Training includes the following:

  • Daily stall cleaning and deep bedding of stalls with no dust pine shavings
  • Unlimited high quality tested organic hay produced on the property
  • Equine Nutritionist supervised grain program to ensure proper growth of our young stock
  • Administration of supplements and medications, as needed
  • Blanketing and leg wrapping, as needed
  • All appointments organized (Vet, Chiropractor, Massage, Farrier)
  • Late evening night check (water and hay top-up)
  • 5 days per week training sessions

Retirement Boarding at Fox Hollow Stable

Fox Hollow offers retirement boarding for your beloved equine to live in comfort for their retirement years. Our retirement board rate is $530 Canadian per month.

Retirement Board includes the following:

  • Daily stall cleaning and deep bedding of stalls with no dust pine shavings
  • Unlimited high quality tested organic hay produced on the property
  • Equine Nutritionist supervised grain program to ensure the health and longevity of the retired horse
  • Administration of supplements and medications, as needed
  • Blanketing and leg wrapping, as needed
  • All appointments organized (Vet, Chiropractor, Massage, Farrier)
  • Late evening night check (water and hay top-up)
  • Twice a week thorough grooming session
